Hochiminhcity Mechanical-Electrical Business Association (HMEA) is established in 2001, is a voluntary organization of enterprises belonging to many economic elements doing in mechanical-electrical field, managers, technical experts relating to mechanical-electrical field working in HCMC area. The HMEA has legal personality, uses its own seal and is independent in finance.

The Association’s purpose is to gather, mobilize in a voluntary principle way: members of many economic components, managers, technical specialists relating to mechanical-electrical field to contribute effort & intelligence to the development of mechanical-electrical field complying with the standpoint, law of the Government and in accordance with member’s interest & economic-social developing needs of HCMC & the whole country

The assigments of Hochiminhcity Mechanical-Electrical Business Association :

1. Uniting & helping members to promote their potential ability in order to stabilize & develop business, raise productivity, quality & economic effect continuously.

2. Studying the member’s thought, legitimate aspiration in order to promote to the Government through Industry & Commerce Association about problems related to mechanical-electrical field and member’s business environment.

3. Often supplying members the information about economic, market, advanced science & technology… relating to careers for helping members to broaden their professional knowledge and to research & apply them to manufacture-business.

4. Holding conferences, seminars in order to exchange occupational experience; encouraging cooperation, association among member enterprises for complementing weakness to survive & develop together.

5. Combining with state-management offices, authorities to inform the Government’s standpoints, policies & law and also in training, professional cultivating, enhancing laborer’ skills.

6. Representatives of members in all relationship such as economic, science & technology with domestic & abroad organizations.

7. Encouraging and guiding members to carry out social policies and participate in civil movements in HCMC. Co-operating with labor unions in order to implement the Labor Law seriously in all member enterprises.
